ABOUT
My Philosophy
I believe that wellness is empowering. A balanced mind, body and spirit are critical to living life to the fullest. Since I was young, I have carried with me a resolve to help others. My Haitian upbringing and my deep connection to faith and family are what instilled in me that passion for humanitarianism. I gravitated towards holistic health care because I knew I could use the knowledge and practices to heal people, both physically and mentally.
Whether I am working with patients at my practice in Brooklyn, or treating women and communities that have endured trauma, I use and teach holistic techniques to help people regain control and agency of their bodies and their lives. My focus is always on discovering and treating the root of a problem, not just its symptoms.
Engaging in this work has also impacted my own individual wellness. It has motivated me to travel the world and learn about other cultures through their holistic medicinal traditions. It has helped me to become a stronger wife, mother and caretaker. And, it has inspired me to lead my life rooted in the belief that you must be proactive about your wellness in order to achieve your greatest potential.
